"Good!" Lacrima said, grinning but yawning in spite of herself. "Good..."

"All right!" Lacrima said, nodding. She liked the sound of that!

Armani frowned as he headed to Tempora's shrine to pray.

Olivia had befriended that odd little girl, which hadn't happened in any of the other loops...what was the cause of it? Part of him didn't want to take that away, but another part of him cautioned that Malkos would not balk at having that girl killed with the others when he attacked in the morning, and he didn't want Olivia or Lacrima to bear the scars of remembering their deaths...

"I think I need to reset and keep looking for answers...but I'm troubled. Malkos seemed to know precisely what I was up to in this loop, although he didn't do anything about it." Armani said, frowning.

"Malkos seems to do a lot of things he shouldn't. I don't understand the nature of his power at all." Armani admitted.

"But why would one of the gods bless him when he's trying to use that power to take over the kingdom?" Armani asked. "Wouldn't such a blessing be withdrawn if it was being abused?"

"Surely they don't want Malkos to do this? Every loop, it's a slaughter when he moves to take power!" Armani said, aghast.

"Thank you. I'll come pray again soon, but I think I need to reset again. Too many people would get hurt if I let things proceed in this time..." Armani sighed, unaware that the princess was awake and knew what was coming this time around.
